Welcome to the 6th International Competition for Young Musicians in Ludwigslust 2026!
From April 18th to May 3rd, 2026, we once again open our doors to young musical talents from all over the world. The registration deadline is April 11th, 2026 – we are already looking forward to your participation!
Thanks to your support and enthusiasm, the previous competitions have been a great success. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for this. Let us continue this tradition together and provide young musicians with a stage where they can showcase their skills and gain valuable experience.

Entry Fee and Remittance
The jury consists of renowned professors and professional musicians from various musical fields. The evaluation of the videos will be conducted at different locations by assigned juror groups (consisting of at least 3 members). We guarantee the confidential handling of all personal data.
The renowned conductor, composer, and pianist Feihu Jiao has been officially appointed as the Chinese representative and brand ambassador for the 6th International Competition for Young Musicians in Ludwigslust 2026 and the Ludwigslust Music Festival. In this role, he will further promote and deepen the musical and cultural exchange between China and Germany.
Since 2021, our competition has been held according to the principles of fairness, justice, and transparency, and has already successfully reached its fifth edition. We have continuously mastered new challenges, promoted creative ideas, and created a diverse, inspiring environment that excites both participants and spectators. Many exciting and unexpected turns have been experienced, making the competition an unforgettable event.
